How do I know if it's the battery or the alternator?
If it cranks slowly and dies, usually battery. If it dies while driving, usually alternator. We test both before we swap anything.
How long should a battery last?
3–5 years in Texas heat. Extreme heat is harder on batteries than extreme cold — Dallas summers shorten battery life significantly.
Do you handle hybrid or EV batteries?
12V auxiliary batteries on hybrids/EVs, yes. The main traction battery is dealer-only work.
